The novel start by recognizing that all superior athletes are the ones who stay on top of their sport. The super stars are those who are recognized as the best talent of their team. The super stars are those who cannot amount to the qualification of a legend. superstars who are presented to the world every day but legends are like rare diamonds being discovered and describe as undefinable. So the novel began to explain the natural talent and a legend in his sport(golf), Tiger Woods. They described him as the armageddon of golf, the man who has rewritten the rules and fundamentals of golf.

Impression of the book

As I began to read the novel of an bibliograghy of Tiger Woods, curiosity and questions began to ponder my mind as my interest of this athlete grew. My interest of Tiger Woods was always little but I always wanted to know why he is so passionate about golf. So as I continued to read the author used strong quotes that drive, explain, and describe athletes that are dominant in their sport. Those quotes helped me to view sports in a different perspective. By becoming moved and curious the novel made a good impression like a boyfriend meeting the parents of his girlfriend.

Sports Memoir

We chose to pick sports memoir because everyone in the group enjoys the same sports and have interest in the same sports. We feel as though that as a society and as teens that everyone have some type of interest and passion for a certain sport. We believe that people watch sports because its a rush that build them up and its a feeling that either make you feel good or mad.

Renzo, you finished this book in the first week.  You proceeded to write two responses.  That is definitely not a recipe for success, lol.  The one response you did write was way too much plot.  You're overworking yourself.  Stick to the question.  How does the character change?  I don't think you ever got around to that point.  (BTW, you're sitting next to Leugim on the suspicious list.)  

The Book Did Meet My Expectations

I think it did because it had its moments where there were things in the book that wasn't in the movie. I personally think that the book was a little better than the movie just because of the extra things that happened in the book. The book wasn't dissapointing at all. The movie was good; and you cant have a good movie without having a good book, so the book was good. I wish they would have done more with the rest of the gang at the end of the book.

Will There Be More Conficts?

Are there more conflicts to come across? i think there will be on the count that all the conflicts he has already been in. From the fights to the run in with the police an the arguments with his aunt.So now that he is greatly increasing his fighting skills it could lead to him provoking more conflict now that hes a "fighter." I think that he might want to gain revenge on major an his whole crew not them all at once but one by one.Since Major thinks Alfred set them up he might try to still beat him up causing another conflict.Another option that he has is to take his skills and use them for the good or if not good just as a intimidate them and let it not lead to a conflict

How The Setting Help the story

The setting was unique because even though it was called Camp Green Lake, there was no lake. It was just a big desert that ran for miles and miles. It enhanced the story line by making the work of digging holes a whole lot harder. There were no trees for shade, no grass growing to show that there was any water flow under the dirt. The only nature was the animals that could survive in the desert environment. It hasn't rained for years so no one even thinks about a rain shower. It also enhanced the story by giving it an historical background. So the setting made the story more interesting.
