My Conclusion After Numerous Of Searches

In the beginning I wasn't sure of what to do as a freshman in college. I only knew the basics such as studying, proper rest, staying alert, staying focused and etc. Besides the basic knowledge that I knew I didn't know what are some ways that can help make my freshman year easier. Freshman year is like a whole new start in life. So in order for me to excel I must know other information to help me do so. So the big question was ''How To Survive My Freshman Year In College?'' This question has been created in my mind ever since I received an acceptance letter from one of my college choices. I had to find answers to this essential question. I began to do researches in which I found accurate detailed answers.
The first thing I discovered is that as a new comer I must examine and observe my new environment. This is key because I need to know whats happening around me. I don't want to get in any type of negative altercations especially as the ''new guy on campus''. Another reason is because I must know what type of people I'm going to be around since I'm going to be in a new environment for at least 4 years. I don't want to be around those who are always in drama or those who cant support themselves. I want the best for myself so I cant let negative people influence me.
While researching I found the most interesting answer. Popularity is one of the most important value to have in college. When I read this I was astonished. I always thought that the more people you know in college the more distracted you'll become but obviously I was wrong. I understand why they would say popularity though. It can increase the amount of people who can help and guide me. Another helpful information was joining clubs/organizations. The more I participate with school the higher my chances of becoming successful. Fraternities, book clubs, chest clubs football, basketball, and track are the main organizations that can help me dwell in my years in college. The final piece is that I should build some type of friendship with my teachers. The best relationship I can build with my teachers is allowing them to be my mentor. I don't want to become to comfortable with them because it can defeat his purpose of being my mentor and my purpose of remaining just a student to him.
So in conclusion, in order for me to survive my freshman year I must become active with the school. I cant just rely on others to help me I have to take the initiative to strive and excel. So I'm going to join as many clubs/organizations as I can. As far as the society done there I'm going to examine different personalities and life styles of people.
